Walt Whitman – tedious
Emily Dickinson – I read the poems, did not grasp the profundity.
Lewis Carroll – amusing
Thomas Hardy – left off here, I didn’t realize he was also a poet and I thought his poetry was ok.

Gerald Manley Hopkins – in table of contents so I bought a book on Kindle
