Hope for resurrection

N.T. Wright: “The personal hope for resurrection is located within the larger hope for the renewal of all creation, for God’s new heavens and new earth. Take away the bodily resurrection, however, and what are you left with? The development of private spirituality, leading to a disembodied life after death: the denial of the goodness of creation, your own body included.” (p 126, The Meaning of Jesus: Two Visions).

I received from Amazon some other N.T. Wright books, having to do with following Christ. He said in The Meaning of Jesus, “If what I have said about Jesus is on the right lines, then all sorts of things follow for the question of what Christian living consists of. A good many of these I have explored elsewhere in another genre.”  I ordered a few of the books he refers to.
