I printed out some Sumerian myths to read.  I read them at McMenamins while having 2 beers and artichoke dip and chips.  I see what Enns means about the creation and flood myths.  If these myths existed long before the biblical parallels were written it means the Bible incorporated them.  Sparks also talks about how a section of Proverbs comes from an Egyptian source.
